Staddle stones are used to support independent posts on Oak Framed Buildings, such as our Chippy garages. The stone, which is held down by gravity, has a steel rod that locates into a rebate in the post. As we use 6'' posts, we recommend a 150mm stone for our chippy range. Please note that a 150mm tapered granite model is supplied with each frame unless otherwise requested. The choice of profile and material depends on personal preference. Tapered stones are not suited to uprights located next to garage doors.
