Staddle stones are used to support independent posts on Oak Framed Buildings, such as our Chippy garages. The stone, which is held down by gravity, has a steel rod that locates into a rebate in the post. As we use 6'' posts, we recommend a 150mm stone for our chippy range. Please note that a 150mm tapered granite model is supplied with each frame unless otherwise requested. The choice of profile and material depends on personal preference.
